What we promise, and what we don't.
Plain English, because terms nobody reads protect nobody. These apply when you use this site or buy anything from us. Last updated 23 September 2026.
Who you're dealing with

The free things are free
The check, the written plan and the tools cost nothing, need no account, and stay free. Use what they tell you however you like, including having somebody else do the work, or doing nothing at all. We ask one thing back: only run checks and claim plans for domains you own or are authorized to act for. The plan says where a business is weak, which is why we make you prove the domain is yours before we hand it over.
The free check has a rate limit so one person can't take the whole thing. If you need to check many domains, ask us rather than working around it.
What we sell
- Fix, $1,500. We make the change for you: find everything sending mail in your name, set your own tools up properly, tighten enforcement in stages over 60 to 90 days, report anyone sending as you, file the notices about look-alike addresses, and read your reports daily for 90 days. Covers one domain and up to five sending services. Extra domains are $500 each.
- Watch, $1,200 a year or $375 a quarter. Your reports come to us, we read them daily, and you get a short note each week and a fuller account each month. We keep checking the look-alike names and write the day a new one appears.
- Fix plus the first year of watching, $2,400. After a Fix, later years of watching are $1,200, and your first year is $900 because Fix already covered three months.
Prices are in US dollars and don't include any tax that may apply where you are. We tell you before we charge you anything.
What we don't promise
- We can't promise nobody will ever impersonate you. Enforcement turns away forged mail using your exact address at the providers that honor it, which is most of the large ones. It doesn't stop look-alike addresses, a real mailbox somebody has broken into, or your name typed into a "from" line.
- We can't promise a look-alike site or address will come down. We write the notice, file it and follow up. The decision belongs to the registrar or the hosting company, not to us.
- We report what public records say. Registration records, certificate logs and DNS can be incomplete, out of date or deliberately hidden. We won't guess who is behind a name, and neither should you.
- This isn't legal advice. If somebody is defrauding your customers, talk to a lawyer and to law enforcement. We'll hand over everything we found to help.
- We don't touch your systems without a written agreement. The check and the plan never touch anything of yours. For the managed work you give us access to your DNS settings, we change only what the agreement names, and we tell you before each step.
- Everything here is provided as it is. We don’t warrant that a check is complete, that a result is accurate, or that it fits any particular purpose, because it is built on public records we don’t own and can’t verify. We do the work carefully, and if we got something wrong we’ll correct it. Beyond that there is no warranty, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
- We can’t promise the watching never stops. We run it every day, and we watch the server that runs it. Hosting still fails, providers stop sending reports, and networks break. If we miss a day we’ll tell you. If we miss enough that you didn’t get what you paid for, we’ll refund it. What we won’t do is promise an uptime number that isn’t ours to control.
Your side of it
You confirm you're authorized to act for the domains you check and for the changes you ask us to make. DNS changes affect real mail, which is why we stage them and say what each step touches. If you make the changes yourself, from the free plan, they're yours to make and to reverse.
Don't use anything here to attack, harass or impersonate somebody else. That's the thing we're against.
If you point us at a domain you weren’t authorized to act for and somebody brings a claim against us because of it, that one is yours. You’ll cover the claim and what it costs us to deal with it. This isn’t aimed at an honest mistake, so tell us and we’ll sort it out. It is aimed at anyone who tries to use us as a weapon against somebody else.
Paying, and changing your mind
- Payments are handled by Stripe. Card details go to them and never reach us.
- Fix: if you change your mind before we make the first change to your DNS, we refund it in full, no questions. After that we refund the part we haven't done yet.
- Watch, quarterly: cancel any time and you aren't charged again. We don't bill part of a quarter you didn't use.
- Watch, yearly: cancel any time and we refund the months we haven't watched yet.
- If something we did wasn't what we said it would be, tell us and we'll put it right or refund it. We would rather do that than argue.
If something goes wrong
We'll fix what we broke. Beyond that, what we owe you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the problem, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost business. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that can't be limited by law.
Ending it
You can stop using any of this whenever you like. We can decline or stop work if somebody is using the service to impersonate or attack another business, and we refund anything unused if we do.
When you stop, we stop. The reports stop reaching us the moment you change the record back, which is yours to do and not ours. Whatever we already hold we keep to the schedule on the privacy page, and if you’d rather it was gone sooner, ask and we’ll delete it and tell you when it is done.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute belongs to the courts of Travis County, Texas.
Changes
If we change these terms we'll change the date at the top. A change never applies backwards to work already paid for.
